Unearthed Artists We Like: The Touch

The Femme Fatales are a trio of unlikely confidantes who are as comfortable carving jolting recesses in electronic rackets as they are cozying up to the likes of room shattering guitar riffs. They are vexed by inertia and their sole prerequisite is to buoy the crowd from prone to rapid energy movement.

Initially the Boys had a lighter more simplistic feel but the initial sound has now been upsized with more depth and unique style borrowing the best pieces of everything from Timbaland to Crystal Castles and My Bloody Valentine. The sound has morphed into something more complex, astute and sauted in sexiness.

Femme Fatales engage the crowd not only with their obvious atonement, but their almost initimidating confidence... and obvious fixation for their unique musical pigeon hole.

It’s a pigeon hole that’s bound to take off racing. Having already supported the likes of The Streets, Spank Rock, Ladyhawke, Cut Off Your Hands, Van She, Muscles, Bumblebeez, Sparkadia, TZU, The Dirty Secrets, Vicarious Bliss, Paper Scissors, teenagersintokyo, Miami Horror, Plug In City & ZZZ, it's easy to see that these boys have hype on their side, and they’re not afraid to bask in it, while remaining rock-typically cool.

The Femme Fatales; be the first hipster who tells your friends about ‘em.. you’ll have bragging rights in a year or two, when you hum that phrase that makes you the coolest among the cool ‘I have these guys early stuff.’

"Their dark, driving, electro-grime melds dance samples with their own instruments to create a musical hybrid that is half-organic, half-computerised and it sounds incredible."
Jimmy Bollard, DB Magazine
