Hot off a massive 2012, Melbourne 6-piece Lurch & Chief will be hitting the road throughout March and April in support of their new single “On Your Own”.

The single is the first taste of their sophomore EP, due in June 2013, and continues the bands relationship with renowned producer Lindsay Gravina (Violent Soho, Stonefield, Children Collide).

Set for release on March 5th, “On Your Own” showcases the unique blend of catchy yet emotive male/female vocals the band are becoming known for.

The release follows up on the success of 2012 singles “I’ll Meet You On Planet Z” and “It’s Easy”, which earned the band a spot on the 2012 Harvest Festival line-up through triple j Unearthed.

The genre-bending 6 piece present a charismatic and dynamic live performance that has seen them pack out their own headline shows and share the stage with top Australian and international acts such as Hungry Kids of Hungary and Nada Surf (USA).

I love the quiver in your voice. Unashamedly Australian, reminds me somewhat of Baseball. All in all, tops tune.
