Official website for Muph & Plutonic »
By combining their experiences and musical inspiration, Melbourne’s Muph & Plutonic are doing their bit to widen the boundaries of Australian hip hop. They released their first joint album 'Hunger Pains' in 2004 with their single 'Heaps Good' gaining them a swag of triple j fans. Their second album 'Slience the Sirens' in 2006 further cemented their position as innovators in the scene. MC Muph drops by Unearthed to pick out some of his favourties.

Hey You
Hip Hop
Highly relatable track. Definitely liking this one. Production is minimal but works really well. I'm especially into that bassline. MC comes across strong but
with humble attitude. Definite plus in my books. Good work.

Adelaide bring the heat once again. I like the hunger behind the mc work here, I can tell these guys are driven. Look forward to checking out this track live one day.

This track is the business right here!! Production is tight, the raps are delivered with a sense of conviction, and slight hints of humour thrown in for good measure. Good sit back and relax kind of song!! Top job fellas.

This reminds me a little of earlier Quannum releases, except a little bit lighter, both musically and vocally. Funky with a little bit of an edge to it.

Protest Song
Hip Hop

Really digging this tune. The production is top notch, really appreciate the breakdowns and allowances for the beat to play as much a role in the song as the MC. Speaking of which I'm impressed by Axe's ability to ride the beat, rather than to chase it. All class. War is not the answer!!
